Poetry

Jamie
Daughter of Reverend Sullivan

Who is respectful, nice, and caring

Who loves teach other children, space, and learning
Who feels like being ignored by other people, lonely, and sadden by her mother’s death

Who needs her dad’s acceptance to allow her more freedom, less structure in life, and someone who will take care of her

Who gives her intelligence to other people, her talents by being in choir and in the school play, and her time to help others

Who fears about life and that day she will one die,

Who would like to see the shooting star, one day get a tattoo, and be in two places at once

Who shares her love, mother’s thoughts, and her compassion with Landon

Who is a resident of North Carolina

Sullivan

Haiku:

Playing with my heart

Who instead is left alone

Filled with hope and despair

Tanka:

When the day seems long

All you think is you

Thinking of what you will do

Sometimes others feel ignored

Some may feel just not appreciated
